What do you think of when you think of 21st century learning? Are students getting those types of experiences in school today? What do you hope students will take away from school when they graduate? How can we re-imagine school to better meet the needs of our students and our communities?
At the April 2, 2013 Ideate meeting, staff, administration, and board members separated into learning groups.
The purpose of the learning groups:
To continue “experience mining”. Do some research, share ideas, ask your colleagues from elsewhere for ideas etc.
Ongoing learning.
Plan – plan for possible visits to other sites to check out something new.
Record – keep a running record, log, bibliography of resources and websites.
Share – all group members should be prepared to share their learning at the next Re-Imagine meeting.
